I have placed a few external connections in my schematic drawing for some cables that are not connected at one end. In the documentation it says that you can connect externals to drop points but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. What am I missing?

Sorry to dig up an old post, but I am trying to accomplish this as well and I can't seem to get the posted solution to work. Would anyone be able to post more detailed instructions? I am using the most recent Vectorworks/ConnectCAD versions. Thanks!
