  1. Hi I am having some issue with the Martin Mac Ultra Performance, and the Aura PXL GDTF files. It seems some geometry is in the way of the lens. I tried to move the emitter away from the lens, but it don't seem to solve the problem. Are any of you seeing the same behaviour? Here the Mac Ultra only has a ring of light. When tilting and pacing it changes. The PXL does kind of the same. It has small flickering when moving. IMG_2470.MOV
  2. Thanks a lot Jesse. That has been my work around until now. 🙂 I was hoping someone knew a genius trick. 🙃 Do you have any documentation on how to build a GDTF fixture from scratch? I am having a little difficulty finding the complete information. Best from Mathias
  3. Hello everyone. Does anyone have a solution to this? Best from Mathias
  4. Hi all Do any of you have a trick for visualization of LED tape, and Digital Pixel LED tape? I have some custom fixtures that I use in different cases. The tape is like this one: Best from Mathias
  5. Thanks for your reply @bbudzon. I see - I just red @ajpen post about the bug. Sorry about that - it makes sense now 🙂 I am updating now 😉
  6. Hi I seem to run into a problem when exporting some set-elements from Spotlight, to Vision. My worksflow is to export to MVR, and then import the MVR to vision. But my textures seem to loose all color when exported to MVR. I use the alpha channel of the texture, as alpha channel in vision. Does any of you experience this behavior? Here are screenshots of my settings. I found that the textures in the vision texture folder is Black and white as well, like both are alpha textures. See the screenshot: Best from Mathias
  7. Thanks a lot for quick and precise reply! I tried different things now. It seems like there is a "Centerd Cylinder" in the beam. See attached - i moved it out of the beam here. Might just remove it from the fixture. Best from Mathias
  8. Thanks a lot Mark! I found it on GDTF Share. However it showes a little strange in vision. It is flashing when i move the fixture, just as when you have to surfases right on top of each other in vectorworks. So i often times only get the outline of the beam. See attached. Did i miss a setting someware? I tried to remove the fixtures, and do a new MVR export, and import into vision. Best from Mathias
  9. Hi Does anyone have a JB P18 symbol, that works in vision? Best from Mathias
  10. Hi Nikolay Ohh... of cause.. that slipped my eye - thanks a lot for your quick reply!
  11. Hi. I often run into this problem, that my sheet title on the title block stop linking to sheet title in the sheet editor. As well the sheet number don't link. Se attached where they don't update. When editing the title block, the parameter is set to a linked value. Does anyone have a solution to this? Best from Mathias
  12. Hi Is the show FPS removed? I don't seem to get anything out of pressing "o" when in the root of my scene graph. Best from Mathias
  13. Arhh i see. Thanks a lot! I will test it later. Thanks again.
  14. Hi Kevin Thanks for your quick reply. I started my old system. I took a picture of what the folder contains. This system Is running vision just fine.
  15. Hello everyone After a clean install of a new system and Vision, I get a message, that Vision cannot load library from my C drive. See attached message. Have any experienced this problem? I am running on a newly build system, with Ryzen 9 5950x CPU. Best from Mathias vision
  16. I just found that all the crops somehow is stored in the file. After right clicking a screen, and choosing "Reset Video Input" I get the whole list of crop's. So somehow they are still a part of the file. I attached a screen shot. This at least makes start up a lot easier :) Best from Mathias
  17. Thanks again for your reply. It helps a lot with a friend 🙂 My work around is to crop all screens after reboot, which is a little time consuming, but manageable. I have send you my files. It will be interesting to se if you experience the same. When testing, remember to make individual crops for every screen. I just tried to map all screens to the same crop. After a restart Vision recognised the crop! So you might be on to something here! 🥳 I will try to map my screens to fewer crops, and see if I can find the limit.
  18. Hi again @bbudzon I have been doing a lot of testing now. It is difficult to find any consistent reproduction of the problem. Unfortunately I haven't been able to reproduce the problem in a new file. When making a file with fewer crops, and the same geometry as my show file, I dont experience the problem. At a time I had the idea, that it had to doo with how many network cards / inputs were active in the machine. As I use: One for Art-Net from the console. One for NDI from my media server. One for Internet, to keep dropbox backup. When disabling so only one card was receiving data, it seamed more stable, and loaded the file. But after enabling the other two, and reloading the file it started to not recognise the crop again. However this was no problem in my "smal" test file. Right now I am unsure how to move on. Maybe I can share my file with you to test? In addition i experience Vision to crash, almost every time I open a file. When it loads "Dynamic Cache" it goes to around 12% and closes. This made me open it in "Safe Mode" which lets me open the file, and afterwords adjust Preferences. I am running on a Windows 10 Pro with an older Intel Core i7-7700, 32GB RAM, and a Nvidia 1080 Graphics card. But the activity monitor dont show any sign of the machine being stressed when opening. It lays around 30-40% on GPU, and 20% On CPU. The crashing started after adding the Screen inputs. Best from Mathias
  19. Thanks for quick reply! I will try what you suggests right away. Is there a way to share the files with you, outside the forum? It is a quite big show I am working on, so I might not share it online. Best from Mathias
  20. Hello again @bbudzon I have been working on the same file for some weeks now. Every day a make a new version, just to keep safe from making any mistakes. However a couple of days ago, I had to redo my NDI output machine, so I changed the NDI mapping. Now vision don't find the Crop for video surfases any more. I have redone the crop 3 times now, all the time being carefull to save. But after reboot they are gone. I get prompted with the Video inout Crop menu when loading the file, but all crops are missing. The old file works fine, and detects the NDI input as before. Even though I changed IP. Is this a behaviour you have seen before? I have 22 LED titels that I crop the input to. Here is the dialog I got from the old file, just before it recognises the input. UPDATE: I just tried to open the old file, where NDI inputs work, and it detects all crop. Stored it as a new file on my desktop, and reloaded the file into vision. This made it loos all crops again. Best from Mathias
  21. Thanks for great reply @bbudzon. It turned out I had some video surfaces given the same mapping number. Besides my NDI connection was unstable. Now it all works again. Thanks again! Best from Mathias
  22. Thanks JuanP I will try a reinstall of my OS.. Hope it works.
  23. Hello. I am setting up some LED screens in Vision. They are placed as graphic screens, so no regular image. Therefore i am cropping every screen from a singel input. It gives me arround 25 crops. When after exit it seems that vision forgets the crop. Is there a way to make vision store the crop for every screen, or will i need to do it on every startup? Best from Mathias
  24. Thanks for quick reply @JuanP I have tried just that. I get the same message. Also tried reinstall of vision, and reboot. I don't have any anti virus software, as far as I know.
