I uninstalled and reinstalled 3x before and on the fourth try it worked. Basic Tools palette is visible. 👍

I am having this same issue. I cannot get it to work. Tried: Close Vectorworks > Finder > Go > hold Alt/Option and click Library > Application Support > Vectorworks rename 2019 to something like 2019old (just so you have backup). But it did not resolve. Help!
