  1. Not sure, but I thought you could create curtain walls in VW. Am I missing the tool or command option?
  2. Thanks for the replys. As for being *unethical", I wasn't implying plagarism by my request. I know there are various companies/manufacturers out there gladly supplying cad details for our use. And I have seen some ads for "detail libraries" for various generic construction detail situations, which then can be modified for particular jobs. I don't believe that starting each detail from scratch makes it any more correct than those from libraries, it is what utimatly ends up as the final document theat counts.
  3. Can anyone recommend a comprehensive CD library of architectural details that is usable for VW...probably something that is available through a third party. We do both residential and small commercial jobs.
  4. New VW'er here....Is there a method/command/tool for trimming walls with other walls ( or lines, etc.), and also use the offest command to quickly create additonal walls equally spaced?
  5. If VW's cna so easily created horizontal beams, of various shapes, sizes, and materials, why didn't anyone think that the same ease would of been equally nice for the creation of columns? Either stand alone columns, or ones that automatically attached to a defined column grid?
  6. Newbie here..Yea, my fingers are already tired of adding walls, then going through the clean-up process a number of times for each juncture. In my preferences, I set up that I wanted my walls to auto-join. Seems to ignore that most of the time, especially when starting off a new wall from an existing one. Also have had those "flying off to nowhere walls" occuring. ...after using ADT for 3 years, I'm not sure if VW is going to come close in the ease of using so-called intelligent architectural objects.
