  1. However, importing 3D dxf into VW is next to useless for all but the most simple objects. Why - All faces imported into VW are triangulated making the model very difficult to view/edit unless you only want to render a model.
  2. Steven This happened to me last week. I was advised to check that the class of the viewport is set to 'None'. This fixed my problem. Hope this works for you.
  3. Imported ACAD models appear to render OK in VW. They are only a problem for me when I am working in 3D/2D wire frame/HLR mode.
  4. I use Sketchup and Vectorworks. The models that are available on Formfonts can be exported from Sketchup to Vectorworks and vice versa via either dwg or dxf conversion. Only one catch - All faces of 3D models are triangulated when I import a dxf or dwg file into Vectorworks. The result is the same whether the 3D model is sourced from ACAD or Sketchup. The same models import into TurboCAD without triangulation. The triangulation is a problem if I want to edit the model in VW (too many lines). When will VW improve the 3D conversion process and include a Plug-in to allow the transfer of 3D models into VW. SDesign VW 11.5.1
  5. I have been using the Epson 4000 with VW Architect 11 for some 6 months now. It works like a dream for me. I print on A3 and A2 size paper using both roll and cut sheets.
  6. I would like to see textures of most of the common roofing materials including roof tiles, metal deck and corrugated roofing. Different colours for each of the materials are needed
