Today we are proud to have successfully designs and installed over 5000 models units within the Senior Living and Multifamily markets. We are currently seeking a Commercial Interior Designer & Project Manager to join our team and help us grow our commercial side of the business. The Commercial Interior Designer & Project Manager is a client-interfacing position responsible for reviewing design plans, determining client needs, proposing FF&E selections, assisting with procurement, and overseeing delivery and installation. The Commercial Interior Designer & Project Manager should strive to create interior spaces through the correct use of scale and proportion. The Commercial Interior Designer & Project Manager has an acute attention to detail and a strong sense of design. They are articulate and effective communicator, both written and verbally. They maintain a sense of urgency with all tasks. They have a collaborative attitude and work well in a team to achieve the common goal of client satisfaction. They are highly organized, manage their time efficiently, have the ability to multi task, resulting in the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of completion. Overall responsibility of Commercial Interior Designer & Project Manager 1. Design and manage commercial projects to Model55 and the clients standards 2. Translating client requirements to design criteria from concept through installation 3. Manage multiple projects and set proper client expectations 4. Conduct and be present for client calls 5. Work with Management, Sales and Marketing to grow the commercial side of Model55 6. Create, draft and render drawings for client presentations and installations 7. Selection and specification of furniture and architectural finishes 8. Project Management 9. Space Planning 10. Accurately quote product costs to client 11. Accurately track design hours to maintain project margins 12. Prepare client contract documents 13. Create client presentations and conduct calls to review 14. Conduct site visits and installation 15. Work with purchasing and the Support team to finalize installation issues in a timely manor 16. Assist with product quoting and procurement Requirements · Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design · 3-5 years of experience working in a design office · Proficiency in MacOS Mojave, Vectorworks Architect, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft office Suite · Knowledge of design within the Multifamily and or Senior Living industries desired · Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks on various projects in different stages of development · Knowledge of various materials, finishes, furnishings and equipment · Knowledge of standard building codes and safety issues · Excellent communication skills · Strong design skills · Organized, detailed and self-motivated Candidates should align with company core values · We are creative problem solvers · We keep positive attitudes · We have open and honest communication · We care and respect each other · We are driven to create success for our customers Please submit a cover letter, resume and images of recent work to be considered for this position to emily@model55.com
