@Benson ShawThanks for the answer. I only use the referenced dwg file directly into my working file and it works the way you describe. I just wonder why should I use a dwg imported to shutter file as I frequentely see in workflows, tutorials, etc.

As I understood, Benson is asking the difference between using a Shuttle Referenced VWX with Imported DWG vs Reference the DWG direct into VWX working file, not Import the DWG file to the work file. And it is my question also...

Hi Everyone!

 

I´m trying to export a sheet layer viewport  with data visualization of space objects. So, in the DWG export settings I check the "Use data visualization and overridden attributes" but, at dwg  exported nothing happens, the space data visualization is completely ignored. I´m using the VW2021 SP4 with Windows.

 

It should looks like this:

 

So, I choose this settings in DWG Export Options window:

 

 

But, the result in dwg is the Spaces with their original colors, without the Data Visualization Overrides:

 

 

What I´m doing wrong?

@Matt Panzer, what VW version you refer when you say "This is essentially what we've done.  The stair now places the same..." ?
