Hi Lyle, Please enlighten me as to how you are able to import shapefiles into VW Architect. This function will not work and hasn't worked for me since 12.0. I am running a macbook pro. What operating system/version are you using? Thanks in advance profesrgeo

Greetings, This previously working import tool was and is a very important part of my workflow involving GIS assignments. It has not worked on intel processor macs since 12.5 "upgrade" from 12.0. It does not work in 2008 either. Is there any news of a fix for this bug? Thanks in advance profesrgeo

After upgrade this function no longer works. 12.5.2 does not fix this problem. After going file-import-import shapefile? nothing happens, no dialog box, no nothing. Any ideas? Hi again, I get the same response anytime I try to view the script for any plug-in. Am I doing something wrong? I tried duplicating the plug-in then attempted to view script but got the same response. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Greetings, I keep getting a "plug-in is locked and cannot be edited" response when I try to view the script for the property line tool. Is it possible to modify the tool to display the corner point coordinates? If not via this venue, how can I get vectorworks to do this? Thanks in advance. Regards

Hi Katie, Doesn't matter, I don't even get a dialog box with which to select a file to import. I was told earlier that this was an issue with .shp files and Intel macs. Didn't know it was the same with sketchup. Thanks, geo

Greetings, I too cannot import sketchup files. Worked fine in 12.0 on an intel mac (OS 10.4.8). Now, with 12.5.1 no workie. Try to import and no dialog box, no nothing. Same with shapefiles (.shp), by the way? Not thrilled. Regards,

Greetings, I am agonizing over a decision to purchase ArcInfo or Landmark for an upcoming project. I need to be able to create a report which tracks the following data for each parcel: lot ID; Lot Area; number of verticies and the coordinates of each vertex. I also need the entire drawing to have a custom system of coordinates. The area and coordinate info must be interactive, i.e. if the polygon in the drawing changes, the area and coordinate data must automativally update. I also need the capability to create closed polygons for lots from a site plan imported from Autocad where lines were used to create a plot plan. Will Landmark do this or must I go with ArcInfo?
