  1. HI. I currently have Vectorworks SP 24 and working on a Macbook Pro 2019 MacOS Monterey Version 12.6.3 Yesterday I was 3d modeling an intricate fence flat in plan view. I created a copy of it and rotated it so I could see the fail in front view and create a camera view with a person. Like this.... Today I am trying to draft this. I need to have the version of the model positioned in plan view in order for me to create several section viewports. I open my file all the copies of the rail are like this... I am unable to rotate this to be back in the ground... How can I be able to rotate my elements freely? Also, how do I make sure that when I rotate and safe the file, when I open it again the elements are in the same position? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance! Anelisa
  2. Thank you for your suggestions but I'm still having this issue. Vectorworks please fix this. This is really killing my productivity and affecting my job. I guess I will have to switch to sketchup and start over
  3. This has been happening again to me in various projects! I really I am not understanding why this is happening. It looks like a glitch to me. I'm noticing the wall also gets broken up weird. It is part of the gig that things tend to move around and it is frustrating that sometimes when I move doors and windows this keeps happening. I've double checked object info and it appears 'door on wall' or 'window on wall'. I am also making sure that the wall is not duplicated. I've attached a file with an example here. Thanks so much in advance. 481259182_DoorsandWindowsIssue.vwx
  4. Everytime I use the tool it just crashes. I am drafting something where that information is needed for the construction team. Help please
  5. Hi! I had created a model with windows and doors and it looked all fine. As soon as I section viewported this in order to draft on a sheet later, I have this situation. I have tried re-drawing and I keep getting this issue. I'm not understanding why this is happening. I am using Vectorworks Design 2023 trial with MacOS Monterey Version 12.3.1 Please help!
  6. @michaelk The computer that I have is a MacBook Pro from 2012. I think the issue was the speed of my laptop. It is an older computer after all and this was a big file. I went to another computer in the office to continue working on the file and it worked perfectly and I was able to finish in time.
  7. Hello Everyone! I've been modeling for a few hours and am on a tight deadline. All of the sudden I can't see neither the 3d or 2d geometry of all the work that I have done except when I zoom in or out. I've tried restarting Vectorworks, restarting my computer and nothing has changed. I don't have another computer so I'm not sure if it is the file itself. Any advice of why this should be would be extremely appreciated!! Thanks! AT
