  1. @BartHays This could potentially be a usable work around I will need to try it across both OS's. - Although I still think ill fall victim to the drawings being unaligned on the design layer. @Jonathan Pickup Unfortunately I have had absolutely no luck trying to create a custom page size on a Windows PC. More frustratingly I presumed that the 'Non-print area' would be printer defined but even after installing the same driver on both machines I am still having the same issue.
  2. I am importing a file that has been setup on a Mac and drawings set out on a design layer with Paper size at A3 with 5mm margins. (Non-Printable area). This means the boundary line on the design layer is 410mm x 287mm and in sheet layers paper size is 420mm x 297mm but shows a 5mm greyed out margin to all sides. ‘Non-printable area’ I am trying to emulate this in windows but I can’t seem to set up the ‘non-printable area’. Firstly because I think it works better to have a predefined margin and secondly it means in this current import all the drawings in the design layers are unaligned from the boundary and it is affecting the title block borders that have been set to ‘fit printable area’. Any advice would be much appreciated.
  3. I’m having some issues similar to this. Please help it’s driving me loopy! How did you accomplish this? Could you set up a custom page size via the printer? Could you share what driver you installed please? Thanks in advance.
  4. Thanks a lot for your help guys. I'll experiment with both and let you know how I get on!
  5. Thanks Kevin. Do you add the solids or do you keep them as single objects. I have tried something similar - as one solid - but can never get a true seamless look. (This may due to bad lighting though. Secondly approx what kind of radius do you have for the cove?
  6. Is there a way to create an infinite background? I am modelling product displays and would like to be able to place them on an infinite backdrop so that I can have reflections and shadow on the floor and a clean background. Cheers!
