I have talked with the representant in Portugal and he was surprised with that error...I work in windows os, He experimented in mac os, and found the same error message.

Hi Everyone, I'm having problem with a bug on the new redesigned attributes pallete. When I click on the Image Fill Settings an error message appear (image attached). A temporary solution for this issue is to use the Attribute Mapping Tool (D). Has anyone run into the same problem? Iúri Chagas

What worked for me was: I created a new folder at the program folder (C:\Program Files\Vectorworks2016), with the name SketchUp Models. I placed the model that I wanted to import to vectorworks in that folder and then import the file to vectorworks from there. And Boom ... Worked Everytime. Hope this helps you guys.

@Paulo Ferrari I created a folder in the Vectorworks disk folder, and I paste a model there to give it a try. IT WORKED! Many thanks for helping me to understand what was wrong. Maybe I had the files in the wrong places. For example, if I had a file the deskpot, it didn't work, but now it seems to be just fine. Great!

Nothing happens...I tried all versions. For example... the plants that I attach (version 8 of SKU)... please see if you can import...with me...nothing... strelitzia+nicolai+(giant+bird+of+paradise)_v8.skp Bougainvillea Branca.skp

The problem is that doesn't work also with small files...not even single objects as cars, persons, plants...maybe some definitions in sketchup or vectorworks that might be wrong?

Yes, I tried all previous formats. What is strange to me, is that, when I used other computer (with much less capacity) I could manage it to import from sketchup. Since I changed computer with better capacities, it stopped to import...I don't have any explination...that's why I'm guessing maybe I have some drivers that need to be installed?

Since I changed the computer, I can't import files from SketchUp into Vectorworks. Not even simple objects. It was always difficult to import from SketchUp (in the other computer)but I could manage it. But now...it simply doesn't work! My version of Vectorworks is 2016. I know all the sketchup models need to be from that year or older. My actual computer is a MSi with the following characteristics: Processor: Intel Core i7-7700HQ; CPU 2,80GHz Memory: 16GB OS: 64Bits (win10) Placa Gráfica: Geforce GTX 1050 Ti I'm getting desperate...and no solution on the horizon.
