Undocking the palette only works sporadically for me - and when I save/close the file I get the beachball... sigh.

Well I have to admit I was sceptical at your suggestion - my Object Info palette is never really docked anyway. But I pushed it right outside the VW screen area ... and it worked! (having previously wasted a tonne of time updating the software, etc with no effect) Thanks Jim!

When I add dimensions in annotations mode in Viewport, it crashes (or massively slows) my programme. I use VW2019 SP2. Any advice? - is this unusual??
