Hi Jim, It is a bit better - once the file is drawn and loaded. Also - my screen flashes to black sometimes while it is redrawing? Is this normal? Ii sent you the file in a private chat. I'm having similar issues. I'm on a new PC with a 1070 Max-Q card -- It seems as if the card is not being used at all? 2D or 3D - Wireframe or Open GL ?? Is there something I need to do to force VWX to use the fancy dancy GPU card ??

Hmm - this did not seem to stop the auto-Re-render in design layers? Was it supposed to? (has alerted me to things I forgot about though

Is there anyway to stop it from Auto-Rendering on any action? I do some things that should have no impact on the render - and it auto-starts rendering again - wasting another 6-8 min of my life !

Can anyone actually cancel a rendering in progress? I use the escape and/or the CNTRL-Period and neither seems to work? Is there a new tool combo? thanks S_

I'm working with a section viiewport now - and my machine is crawling. I think I have to delete them if I'm going to keep working with the file. Not sure as to the cause. Will keep an eye out.

so i'm able to get into the section edit as shown .. Is there a way to just keep this as the actual render setting when I exit the view? This white model is really all that I want. The sections are really stalling my system

I found my culprit. There is the Document Preferences -> Adjust Flipped Text. Which I think adjust text in Design Layers / Sheet Layers Then there is the Viewport - > Advance Properties -> Adjust Flipped Text. Which is the toggle for the Viewport. The two seem separate.

I had to go to preferences - disable and then re-enable the "adjust flipped text" in the Document Settings.

I set the one of the SpaceNavigator buttons to "Switch Navigation" and the other to "Switch Projection" This is allowing me to experiment with all the different permutations quickly. All sorts of new modes ! LOL! The switching from Ortho to Perspective seems to be key in getting the 3d to work happily?

Found it. 1 - Set Perspective to "Normal" .. THEN choose your view modes. You get a whole new set: Camera Target Camera 2d Ojbect HELICOPTER

Surpisingly there is not a good single-man lift there.

That would be an excellent VWX workflow.

I have the wired CadMouse and really like it - good for large hands and easy buttons.

To tack onto this - I'm trying to use a worksheet to edit TitleBlock data from a central location. I'm having issues with the data being updated from the Worksheet -> Titleblock. The only record that will update the title block is the "Drawing Description" - and that only once I click into edit mode of the titleblcok and cancel out (It needs to bring up the dialogue box). All the rest of the reports only have 1 way correspondence - from the Titleblock OIP -> Worksheet. Has anyone tried this successfully?
