Hi everyone, way back in the day (2000), the person who taught me to use Vectoworks (I actually learned MiniCAD first, that is how long agao) wrote a script that automated the process to build a stage. Basically you drew a square (2072 x 2072) extruded it to 1m or 2m. Duplicated this as many times as need to make up your stage base. He then had a script button/menu dropdown that then drew in all the necessary standards, ledgers, bracing and also the decking, so in minutes you had a stage from Layher. We also used to get a packing list from this. He unfortunately was killed in a road accident and this script seems to have been lost. I left the industry and only recently started drawing again in the events and I know there is a layher symbol library but has anyone written such a plugin/script? Thanks Kim

I have imported a DWG and although I can see all objects, I have no idea where the page is. If I go "fit to page" the objects are far off, so far I cannot see them. If I go to "fit to objects" I can't find the page outline. I have tried rescaling the drawing but the page seems to be in completely different coordinates. How can I align objects and a page?
