    When you initially import the dwg, ensure that in the dialgue box that appears, that the 'reference' is unticked about 3/4 down the page; it will then import as normal.

    I am also having this exact same problem; has anyone worked out what is wrong? I've spent hours trying to sort it out. Can anyone help?
