  1. More often than not, I complete a full drawing and render for a meeting or event and the client requests a 90° flip of the orientation. It's never as simple as that, with considerations for rigging, projection distances, etc. I would like to be able to throw my entire first draft of design layers into a group in the Organization pane — similar to Photoshop — where everything I select can drag into the "Short wall spec" folder, for instance. Then create a whole new version of layers within another group.
  2. In trying to create a custom-sized curved truss to create a complete circle for an upcoming event, I cannot get VWX 22 to auto-connect sections of curved truss, whether I'm using the curved truss tool or even by creating my own symbol and attaching magnets to the ends of the segments. I will chalk it up to user error, but the truss segments do NOT behave the same way as straight truss segments do — I never see the red connection lines and although I can create a complete circle aligned perfectly, the pieces never connect into a system. Therefore, I cannot attach motors, fixtures or other loads and have any sort of calculations happen. To fake the setup ahead of ordering truss from the manufacturer, I used parts and pieces of other similar truss systems in straight lengths with wedges and approximated the weights of the entire system. It was the only way I could find to get SOMETHING somewhat circular created and find out if I was overloading the house rigging points or not. My final truss, that is being custom-fabricated, will be 32' OD complete circle 16x16 video wall centerline truss. Anyone else have issues trying to create a connected system using curved truss? Or, what am I doing incorrectly?
