[Symbol Name Export from Resource Manager]

Hello, 

I'd like to find an efficient way to, pull symbol names out of the resource manager directly for use in excel.

 

Or, if impossible, design a script to import the individual symbols from resource manager to a drawing, so I can export the symbol names to an excel.

 

Hope someone has ran into this before!

Hello to Whom it may concern,

 

I am finding issues, that need attention in VW2020.  I have also found that TC1212-AVB and TC1212-VHB do work. But, i have found TC1212-AHB and TC1212-VVB don't work.  When i try to insert the symbol, the Truss Properties Cross section pops up asking for data. After, inputing values symbols without geometry are inserted. Has this been verified elsewhere?

That looks like you may have found the issue, I am using Spotlight & Braceworks

I just updated the software. While trying the new system, I noticed I couldn’t draw steel beams, with the structure member tool. I contacted VSS support, they were able to recreate the issue. They said they are working on a solution. I hope they fix it quickly the new features look awesome, in the release videos..
