Hello! I have several lighting positions that are made of multiple pipes, in a line, that have significant gaps between the pipes. I would like to use the Lighting Pipe Tool to draw these positions (with gaps) but i don't know if i can? I know I can convert to hang position and use the current geometry of the pipes with gaps, but, I don't think that the Lighting Pipe Tool has this feature. Is there a trick that i am not seeing to being able to have multiple pipes, with gaps in between, as the same lighting pipe? thanks!

Hello! I am updating the title blocks for my company. I draft them in a separate Symbol Library document, then import them into the 3 Venue draftings. I am working from an existing title block, it is a symbol, and has smart text that is linked to a custom record format. I have not previously had issues with these title blocks before. I did add quiet a few lines to them. (in the form of lighting symbols that i converted to polygons so they would display properly). 2 weird thing were happening. I would open the Drawing with the title block/Record Format. Then open the base drawing I wanted to import the title blocks into. Then from the Base drawing i would import the "drawing and boarder components" folder and the "Title Block" Record format, preserving folder hierarchy. Because no names had changed on the symbols or record format my assumption was that i could choose "replace in document" and i would seamlessly import the updated things while deleting the old things. Not so. I received an error: "An Error occurred while converting a Text Link Using the format named “Title Block” (Probably out of memory). The text link has been deleted from the document." Although all my linked stuff seemed ok, i didn't chance it and i closed everything and started over. This time I deleted the "drawing and boarder components" folder and the "Title Block" Record format from the base drawing first, then did the import. And i was replacing the title blocks in my sheet lays when i slowly noticed weir things happening. 1) the Linked record format that is supposed to update plate number based on the sheet number was not working (it worked in the drawing i imported it from, and i even deleted that record and remade it. no luck). 2) The Bitmaps disappears from all of the title blocks. Then almost as soon as I noticed that 3) Vectorworks would crash. I closed eveything and went home, and the next day, the 'delete everything before importing' seemed ot work fine, but, i want to know why i was having these issues so i dont have them again. I am working in VW 2017. SP5 thank you!
