  1. Thanks mike. I sent you my e-mail. And Katie, isn't it a good idea to release the fix in the site? I'm sure a lot of people will find it usful. yovav
  2. The Architects window tool seems to have very strange behavior. When I'm trying to create a "horizontal slider" with "num lites horiz" = 1, the software automatically force me to use "rise" and "spring" values bigger then zero (in other words - I have to have transom in the window). If the "num lites horiz" = 2, or bigger, then I can edit the "spring" and "rise" values to 0, and get the window without the upper filed. Does anyone know how to bypass this situation? Is it a bug? I'm using VWA 10.0.1, on XP system.
  3. I'm using the 1520 with a WIN machine (XP, P4 1.7) and VW 9.5.2. In the past (on Win ME) everything was fine, but since upgrading to XP I had some troubles with the 1520 drivers. Epson didn't release updated drivers for XP and I have to use the Win 2000 driver, or the built-in 1520 driver, coming bundled with the XP installer. The Win 2000 driver keeps offering all the printer preference and options but print very slowly. The XP built-in driver works faster (not as fast as it was on ME, but faster) but got a limited interface, that blocks some of the printer functions, like 1440 dpi printing. Does anyone knows about solution to these problems? Any work around?
  4. Excuse me for moving the discussion a bit towards the Windows world, but I'm also having trouble with the Epson 1520. I'm using the 1520 with a WIN machine (XP, P4 1.7) and VW 9.5.2. 5. I got the same problem. I got a symbol of an armchair that uses some arcs. Some times, in print only, some of the arcs extendes to very long lines. Rotation of the symbole (even in 2-3 degrees)solve the problem. Looks like a bug
  6. This is odd. I got the same - 9.5.2 + XP
  7. In VW 8.5.x I was used to set my perspective by numbers - VIEW > PERSPECTIVE > SET PESPECTIVE. This procedure is a must if you want to implant your rendered image inside a photo (for example: implanting a new building, rendered by RW, between two existing buildings, shown in a photograph). In 9.5.2 this feature exists, but after changing the value in the dialog box, there is no effect on the 3D view. The 3 preset values: NARROW, NORMAL and WIDE are working fine, but you loose the range between them. In my case I had to take the 3D model down to 8.5.x, set the correct view, and take it up again to 9.5.2. Of course I lost a lot of data in this annoying procedure, like textures etc. Any solutions for this bug?
  8. I'm not sure it will solve your problem, but my font changing problems were solved after modifying the settings in windows "regional setting" control panel. Try changing the language pop-up menu (rest of the pop-ups and the tabs in this control panel are irelevant to the fonts issue).
