  1. O.K. We just got our own list imported, and it looks like it will work well, now the next step: Once I have a complete list of notes, is there a way that I could export the list of Division,Section, and Item numbers to MasterSpec or a similar program for a quick outline specification? Is anybody working on such a link?
  2. I find many of the toolkit electrical symbols a bit clunky, so way back in Minicad 6, we created our own folder of symbols. We have seperate folders for 1/8", 1/4" and 1/2" symbols depending on the level, of detail. Site electrical could be at 1/8, Kitchen plan could be at 1/2, etc.... It would be great if these worked like the reference symbols that are now part of the AEC markers, and as icon tools in Architect. We used to do all our symbols on a 1:1 layer, or have seperate scales. that was hard to do. We have many of the electrical fixture symbols linked to a record format for easy fixture schedule creation... this should be part of any new electrical symbol tool.
  3. I just got Vectorworks Architect and I can't wait to dive into the Condoc notes. We have our own master list of notes that we have developed over many years. Currently it is in a Microsoft Excel document. For the past few years I have been creating a Minicad worksheet from my own keynote record format. I then exported the column of numbers to Excel to pick up the notes, then I would export back to Minicad. It looks like I no longer have to go through this circus that I had trouble explaining to others in the office. I would love to import my Excel list. Is there a way? ------------------
