  1. I agree the paper space move changing the model coordinates is not a good thing. I find it very difficult to do any accruate 3-d layout with VW because of this. As a beginner, it is extremely hard to know how objects relate in space, and this is compounded when the base coordinates of an object can be totally skewed by a paper move in a non standard view. Is there anything like world or absolute coordiantes for objects in VW?

  3. I am using VW8.5.1 on a mac, and I'm having problems importing dxf files from autocad 2000 LT. The import process is stopped with, "OpenDWG Library Error 3" If I copy the file to the hard disk, I get an error 17. This also happens for dwg files. I have saved the files as R13, R14 etc.. and had no luck.
