  1. I would like someone to provide furniture drawings from my sketches. Some of the shapes are complex. I am looking for shop drawings and 3D renderings. If anyone is interested please contact me by email. Thank You, Roy idstudio@bellsouth.net
  2. How do I draw mouldings in VW?? Crown, Baseboards, etc. I could not locate anything in the resource palette. Thanks, Roy
  3. I would like to print only a small portion of a drawing, for example a bathroom in a house. If I set the paper size to 8.5 x 11, and set the print area to one page, I see the print area on the screen but cannot be specific as to exactly where it is located.
  4. How do I reduce a drawing to print on 11x17 or 8.5x11?? How do I print only a section of a drawing?? I am using a epson Stylus Photo 1200 printer. Thanks
  5. I think a great addition to Vectorworks would be more keyboard commands. Example: when drawing a very large radius and the centerpoint is off the page, if you could enter an endpoint command from the keyboard this would save a lot of time.
  6. Thanks, that worked great. But, after creating the footings, slab, and exterior walls, some how the original floor plan is not visible. I am unable to bring it up to trace the interior walls. Before I pasted the file into the VA, I created a new Layer for the file, but even when activating the layer it is not visible. Any Ideas??
  7. I would like to see a plug in geared for industrial design. I think it is wonderful what you have done with VectorWorks and Architecture. Now lets see what you can do w/ product design, surface and solid modeling. Take a look at SolidThinking for some ideas (www.gestel.com) Because I work w/ architects, developing concepts and designing interiors as well as developing lighting and furniture products (custom and production), I would love to have VectorWorks as my one stop design software source. Thanks,

  9. How do I import a dwg/dxf file to trace in Vectorworks?? I am able to import into a blank document, but I would like to use VA to set up all the pages, classes, etc. When I import dwg/dxf into a blank document, I am unable to use VA assistant. If I use VA assistant first, I am unable to import dxf/dwg. So, How do I use VA assistant w/ an imported file?? I only want to use this file as a template to trace. I appreciate your patience. Thanks, Roy
