  1. They're often termed as 'French Casements' or 'Inswing French Casements.' At least I know that's the terminology that Andersen, Marvin, Pella, etc. use. In my experience, they are not always offered in every product line. They are really handy for situations with true shutters (as Christiaan mentioned) or in my case, the desire to have a combination of casement and double-hung windows with the insect screens consistently located on the exterior.
  2. They are commercially available if not the most common configuration. In the U.S., Andersen, Marvin, Kolbe and Pella (all major manufacturers) do make them.
  3. Juan and Mark, I uninstalled, downloaded again and reinstalled 2024, and I now am able to reach the sample files. Thanks for your help... glad it got sorted out.
  4. On a clean install of the 2024 Trial Version, the Home screen has an image that would appear to lead to sample files (the hand cursor appears when hovering over it) but clicking it does nothing. I'm hoping this would be a simple oversight, as a sample file IMO is essential for a newbie to evaluate the features of the program within the trial period, which is only 7 days long.
