I am working on a file that will hopefully have 116k fixtures in it. Is this something Spotlight can do? And will the data exchange support that sort of quantity? I have about 15k fixtures drawn right now and the xml file went bad. And so I have turned off the Lightwright data exchange and turned it back on and it is attempting to export to the xml file (which had been deleted when it was turned off) and it is taking forever. Right now I am at about 45 minutes of it trying to process it. Thanks in advance. Jim

I am trying to find a way in Vectorworks 2018 to perform a command from AutoCAD that I have been using. The end result is I would like a text block that shows the area of a selected object. In AutoCAD I choose MTEXT, and then I can insert Field, choose the object, insert the property (in this case area) and it creates a text object that automatically takes the area from the object selected. I have imported the file into Vectorworks and it comes in as a normal piece of text. Any suggestions? Jim
