  1. @jeff prince Oh I completly agree with you. I am being spoilt and just looking to make something slightly eaiser. I am happy with how it is at the moment just thought I would try see if its possible thats all. Nothing else compares to vectorworks for planting workflow.
  2. @Tom W. Thats not a bad idea but will it not select all plants of that type on the drawing? So if I have a clump in the front yard and a clump in the back it would then select both and combind whereas I would like to be able to select the clumps next to each other. I really may be just dreaming here and have to do it the long and tedius way by selecting each clump and grouping like that.
  3. This is how I do it at the moment but its time consuming to select each cluster of plants and group them. The reason I place all my plants individualy @jeff prince is I constantly ajust as i place new plants so placing them in "Poly vertex placment" means I have to come and double click "edit path" every time I want to ajust. What would be nice is to place all the plants and select them all to be grouped in there species.
  4. Hi I am looking for a faster way to group my plants. I place plants individually so as to be able to move them around while designing and then group them together once finished. It is time consuming to select each plant and then right click - change plant grouping. I was wondering is there is a faster way to do this eg create a scrip that groups with one click on each plant or that groups all plants within a select distance of each other
