  1. Does anyone know of a utility out there that will convert a MicroStation file (.dgn) directly to VectorWorks?
  2. Is there a translation utility out there that will convert MicroStation files (.dgn) to VectorWorks?
  3. I would like to be in touch with some firms using VW 9.5 Mac to discuss your experience with the program. We are a Mac office currently using MicroStation SE but we're thinking of changing. It would be great if we could have a conversation about the program. Thanks in advance for your help. landscape@thefitchstudio.com
  4. I gave up on Vectorworks 8.5.2 and went back to MicroStation SE (Mac) because of problems with workgroup references. The problem was as follows: I would reference in several files and work in the active file. I would, after a while, save and close the file. When the file was reopened to continue work, the reference files would (at least half the time) have scattered all over the place and would have to be moved back into position. This was, as you can imagine, infuriating. I have been assured by Nemetshek sales that this bug has been fixed and there will be no more problems on this score. Since workgroup referencing is absolutely key to the way my firm works, I wonder if any other users out there could tell me of their experiences with workgroup referencing in 9.5.2 under Mac OS X ( We haven't yet switched over to OS X but we would like to and, if we do, MicroStation will no longer be an option). thanks for you help and advice.
