  1. I am also having an issue in switching from Sheet Layer to Design Layer....VW keeps crashing. This is a new problem and I'm up to date with my software.
  2. Hi, I've upgraded to Mojave and am working in VW 2019 and have downloaded the most recent patch to address incompatibility issues and am still unable to snap to angles and enter pre designated dimensions for drawing rectangles, squares, lines, etc. Any thoughts on how to address this issue
  3. I am having the same issue. I cannot import a SketchUp file saved as any of the versions. The file sits directly on my desktop.
  4. A red 'X' is populating my Top/Plan view and is attached the hardscape area in my plan. How can I turn off the visibility for this?
  5. I am having issues with the resource manager palette whereas if I attempt to attach it to the side of my window it populates the entire space. When I attempt to grab the top bar to pull it off I default grabbing the project window and the resource manager palette become faded out and unmanageable. Feels like a bug. I've restarted VW but was required to save before I booted to not lose my work. The program now starts up with a dysfunctional resource manager palette stuck in the main window. Stephanie

  7. What I ended up doing is changing the 3D Type from 'Slab' to 'None' and now I can see the pattern in both Top/Plan view and a rendered version. I have removed the sloping site due to it not being entirely necessary for this project and my lack of familiarity with the software. Thanks for the tips! Stephanie
  8. Hi all, I am new to VW and navigating my way through a landscape plan. I have a site model, slightly sloping but level where the house is and where the hardscape elements will be. Question #1 I have drawn my hardscape with polylines and used the hardscape tool to create the pathways and patios surrounding the house. I have the harscape 3D type as pad modifier, top of slab with a 3" thickness. In top/plan the joint pattern tole (cambridge) and the main texture (stone limestone) are visible but when I spin to a ISO view and render to Open GL the hardscape turns to white. Question #2: in my sloping site I am attempting to indicate existing vegetation that begins at the bottom of the slope and ends at the foundation level of the house. I have placed a landscape area illustrating in top/plan as a green space and 3D plants in a rendered Open GL. The are located at a 0 Z axis. Is there any way to manipulate the 3D plants to shape against the slope? Currently I have them oversized so the plants closer to the house (top of the slope) are still visible. Thanks for any and all advice! Stephanie
  9. My issue has been remedied by saving the file as another name.
  10. Ok, thanks! I've actually tried save as to a different location and file name so we'll see if that helps. I'll contact them if the problem persists
  11. I am trying to place a hardscape using poly lines and the hardscape tool. When I'm adding surfaces with a few poly lines selected the program crashes. This has happened three times within an hour. In addition, the autosave command isn't working. I've set the file up to be auto saved every 5 minutes after having lost the work from earlier this morning. I've tried saving the original file (from an earlier thread someone suggested having an initial save when the file is opened) and that hasn't remedied the saving issue. I worked in VW yesterday on a different file with no issues. I'm assuming it has to do with this file but i'm not sure where to begin. Help!
