[DataTag insertion class to "Target Symbol Class".]

Currently, the only options are to tag to Active Class, or Specificied Class. 

It would be great to have a "Target Symbol Class" option so I don't have to keep switching between active class before inserting tags. 
I use the same tag for multiple symbols on different classes.

 

Anyone else have this issue?

I'm in the process of getting a trial license installed to see if this functionality is available in it.

Hi Friends,

I'm looking for a company that could potentially develop a custom plug in for me.  
I'm not sure what kind of details would be needed for a proper estimate. I can get into more details once I have a few companies lined up. 

But essentially, it would be a customization of the MEP function for Electrical and Low Voltage symbols.  With custom record format and custom labeling. 
I don't even know where to start, but I do think its possible.
