  1. Please relocate the Update button to the Title line of the Shape Tab: Where it says "Section Viewport, etc" place the Update button to the right side of that line where it is always available. That way if you are scrolled down in the OIP (say Advanced properties) you don't have to scroll all the way up to find the Update button.
  2. Exactly the frustrating problem I was seeking answers for in this "Knowledge Base". SEVEN years of this question sitting out there not being addressed. Can't say as I totally understood the grouping method. My solution to get vertical framing on either side of a 6' door opening is to create a new Wall Style with 6'2" spacing for the verticals and center the wall install where I need the door to be centered. Oh, but we have Point Cloud and Marionette...Attend to the Basics people...This tool needs an overhaul. Oh, maybe it will be fixed/updated in VW2023? Any bets?
  3. Why, in this day of "Data" are no basic dimensions of items included in the Data portion of the "Resource Manager? For Instance: Search Refrigerators...You get lots and lots of refrigerator symbols. I'm assuming they are created by the product manufacturers. The best you can do is place a symbol and see if it is Too, Big, Too Small or Just right...Some have size indicators in the title. Some have model numbers which are useless unless you search their catalogs, which by-the-way, probably do not include the models in Vectorworks because they have all new models for selecting... One day I hope to be able to look at the data field and be able to select a refrigerator based on WxDxH which as an architect I would find a basic piece of information. Ask the Architects you have on staff if this is not a good idea. Whenever a manufacturer provides their symbols, require this basic information! Duh!
