I've noticed when I open a VW8 dwg and save it in VW9, the size of the file nearly doubles w/o adding any additional information. Is this normal, it seems unlikely. Is there something I can do to fix it? Thanks.

We are beginning to work with PC / AutoCAD files from our consultants. We have VW 9 & use MACS. In order to prevent font problems, are there any cross-platform, cross-program Fonts you recommend? An architecture typeface, such as Graphite Lite, would be preferred. Also, can fonts be imported or exported into the other program?

We often get an error message reading: Open DWG Library Error 5, the file appears to be damged or incomplete. Is there something we can inform the sender they need to do when saving their file so we will be able to open the file the first time it is sent. Thanks.

One one of our computers, there are dashed lines coming out of every door and window stretching to infinity. How do I get rid of them? They can't be clicked on, only visible and annoying. Thanks.

Can you create a default arrow where the actual (open)arrowhead is a heavier line weight than the leader line? [i.e., leader line 1mil w/ arrowhead 5mil]

When working with sheets in a file, is there a way to know which sheet is the active sheet w/o going to the bottom left arrow and actually selecting the sheet?

how do you set the font to remain a constant size and type in all text and dimensions? (i.e., everything 9pt.)

we have been unable to import text from word, pagemaker or photoshop into a vw8 file & have it remain formatted correctly. any suggestions? is there anyway to force justify text in vw8 or set up columns to add text?
