  1. Thanks zoomer I will give this a try. I have not used Design Layer Viewports yet.
  2. I am single user and have a housing project coming up for about 30 houses with about five house types. I want to be able to draw each house type once only with a full set of design layers to generate floor plans, elevations and sections. The site is sloping so there will be different z heights for the same house. Not sure if this is possible and, if so, what is the best way of doing this. I am not familiar with referencing if this is the way forward. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. iMac 27" Retina 5K 2014 4 GHz Intel Core i7 24 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB VW Architect anfd Renderworks 2016
  3. I have been asked by a client to present textured Renderworks renderings in greyscale and it is not currently possible to do this within VW. Can I request this feature be included in a future release. It would be very useful and I imagine fairly easy to implement.
  4. When I edit the crop or annotation of a viewport there is a button at the top right of the window which takes me back to the sheet layer view. There is not a button when I edit the design layer so I have to go back via the layers button on the drawing header. It would be great if there was a button for this. Am I missing one or does it not exist? (VW12.5.1 on MacOS10.8 on Intel Mac Pro with 2Gb memory)
  5. Thanks for your reply, Katie. I have done this.
  6. I import AutoCad drawings from a surveyor. He draws hedges as polylines with a user defined line type which is not linear. This line has a straight section then slopes up and down again to form an inverted "V" and carries on straight again. When you apply this to a polyline it looks good as a hedge. VW 12.5 does not seem to be able to import the line, which just comes in as a dashed line. Is there a way to import this?
  7. I would like to switch from running VectorWorks in Mac OS 10.1.2, which I use most of the time, to running in Classic but the programme always seems to open in OS X even when it is installed in Mac OS 9 applications as well. Is it possible to do this?
