Transparent Colored Objects Please

How about making transparent colored objects a possibility? -
While running dual monitors, I put tools on right (main) monitor and work on left (secondary) monitor. After closing program and reopening, tool palletes are all crowded together on right side of the left (main) monitor. How can my original arrangement be saved?
