I rendered out a camera view and made a screen texture.

That has been my workaround, BUT if I am showing something and there is iMag, it would be ideal if the screen updated as the design evolved. Pretty much a first world 'problem.'

I read the question differently. I thought Dendecko wanted to have the camera view show up on a "monitor" object in the VW drawing. And I don't know how to do that or that it can be done.

That is how I read the question as well. I agree it cannot be done, BUT it would be nice.

Do feel free to submit a VE and please detail the issues you have without it so we can think about the best way to solve them.  It could be that brining perimeter mapping back is the answer but it might result in us coming up with an even better solution.

Pf course, I remembered a video that described how to make this very thing. A quick search and I find that @Matt Panzer made the tutorial and used Perimeter mapping.

Is there a VE to bring that back? I'd like to up vote.

@Kaare Baekgaard @Piotr Karczewski Can you send an example file? I'm not sure I fully understand the problem, as Vectorworks does support Bezier curves, and it does support editing it via handles [Reshape tool]. It sounds like the problem is with PDF importing these curves, right?

I am sure I have a VE on this or similar somewhere along the way. VWX used to import the native AI file format as vector art. Somewhere along the way VWX lost that ability. So, once upon a time, I could design a logo in AI, import into VWX and manipulate/detail for signage, as one example.

Currently, I have to retrace any graphic creating an opportunity for error.

Texture Pads may be the easier and faster solution for large scale

Not sure where Foliage ships, it is more of a rendering device than a planning tool. Foliage provides no plant inventory, it merely spreads, somewhat randomly, images/textures.

I generally find it in the Visualisation Tool Palette.

In the design layer the soft goods object responded to the line type. For viewport overides I had to stipulate the curtain class. That is inconsistent to be fair.

I guess my problem is I have curtains that touch the floor. They should have a solid line, I have curtains that trim out at +18' and they are above the cut plane and should be a long dashed line.
