  1. I just did something similar to what you are trying to achieve, but everything was a symbol. The symbols did not necessarily have a record attached. I am not recalling if they were all hybrid or a mix of hybrid and 3D.

It was an imperfect process, and I think my graphic legends each wound up as several graphic legends grouped together. Different visibilities in each legend. It was trial and error and I didn't document the process.

It would be great to have a way to tell if a file had been copy/pasted from another or if pieces (like lighting instruments) had been pasted straight in.

I don't remember the names, but a set designer was teaching a set design class somewhere. A student turned in their design for some show. The teacher praised the design at length, then added a message about when stealing a design off of the internet, it is best NOT to steal teacher's design.

I think you would need to create a symbol for every sheet layer.  It's possible.  Maybe?

well, the section viewport links to the drawing label object. Reference Markers can also link to Drawing Labels (although that is a process) ideally I would think the worksheet would link to the title block objects.

  4. I use a  stock worksheet that comes with designer to create an index of drawings. The Worksheet pulls sheet titles and sheet numbers from Title Block Objects.

Can that be made interactive, so that a reader using a PDF file can click on the sheet number or the sheet title and be sent to the page?

This is the key. I wouldn't underestimate this change. I've seen hints of this already starting to happen in the beta cycle; a willingness to hold back and get features right before pushing them out. And now they don't have to wait until the following year to push them out.

I hope so, but assumes the file format stays the same for a long time. Photoshop has been able to make this work.

My problem with this subscription model is that if you do work, and you stop subscribing, you lose access to that work the moment your subscription expires.  You have lost all of that work.  How can that possibly be attractive to possible new users.  Did I get that wrong?

While I am not a fan of subscriptions, I see they are where software licenses are going. I have been paying monthly Vig to Adobe for years. That said, what I heard Juan say last night was that if you have a perpetual license, that is not going away. If you have service select, the program is essentially the same. If you have b other and stop paying the Service Select, you still have the license.

I assume that at some point, the OS may not run someone's old version, but that isn't new.

With Adobe, if you stop paying the Vig, you're sunk opening files unless other Apps open and translate. That's possible with some file formats.

If crossed planes is on the reflection could be confusing - I suspect the reflection is of the other plane not the one you see in the front view.

The way I read the question, the user is looking to see the back of the person?
