Hi, I'm hoping someone can help. I've just updated from V-2019 up to V-2022 and am now struggling with the snaps timing out. Essentially, I'll be working as normal but at random times the snaps will just stop working. They're still shown as on - buttons pressed - but I can't snap to anything at all. The work around is to switch a snap off and on again but it repeats regularly - maybe every 30mins or something... Just enough to be a real pain! I've gone through topics on the forum but haven't found anything similar so this could be unique to my machine/system software...? I'm running: Vectorworks Architect 2022 SP3 on Macbook Pro 2021, macoS Monterey 12.2.1, Apple M1 Pro chip and 32GB Memory. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Hi, I've been struggling with this for a week now and - with the long suffering help of my IT Support and Vectorworks Support - have just found the solution (or the one that worked for me at least). It's similar really to the Safari fix in that it was my antivirus software that was clashing - Webroot. If you have this, there's an option you can check to prevent keyboard overriding - "Pause secure keyboard entry" in the Webroot dropdown menu. If you have the same problem but different antivirus software - look for a similar setting in this program. It's become clear that the problem isn't with Vectorworks - I had this same problem across the Adobe suite of programs - but it's the result of a different program claiming rights to space bar use. Find that program and you've found the problem.

I'm having the same problem. Vecotrworks Architect 2016. It happens often that I can only create a viewport that contains layers from within own document - I'm unable to click the 'Select Source' button ...
