I have tried both modes while editing the camera settings. I've had better results editing the settings while the camera view is deactivated, but it still messes up.

Hi there, I'm using VWX arch 2018 and the renderworks camera continuously moves to -5'3" Z. I readjust it and sometimes it'll stay for a bit and then it'll readjust again. It will also change the FOV without me changing it. This will happen whether or not I am viewing from the camera or not. I've tried changing to the default camera before changing settings and it still messes up. It even sometimes doesn't even register when I change the settings. Am I missing something? Also while we're at it, is there a way to lock the camera's settings without locking the view selector? EDIT: Another question: I've only been using Vectorworks regularly for about a year... should I have stayed with 2017 for a few months before upgrading to 2018? Does Vectorworks usually get released with lots of bugs that need to be fixed by professional users?

I installed the .zip file using the third party plugin installer and then when I tried to quit VWX it froze. I force quit and now I can't even start VWX. Any suggestions? I'd really prefer not to reinstall if possible. Thanks! Edit: Going to try renaming the plugin without the quotes in the name like Pi_ probably did....

This doesn't work for me. My DWG and PDF vectors are really wonky in curved areas. Does anyone know how to import without these errors? Thanks. Below I've uploaded what happens with an ungrouped PDF. The top "S" figure is the vector I get from vectorworks, and the bottom image is what it looks like in Illustrator. The bends of the "S" are incorrect in vectorworks. Thank you. *EDIT* Importing DWG with VERY HIGH conversion res seems to look pretty similar, although I need to do more tests on complex vectors to be sure.

Yep! Classes are set to Show/Snap/Modify as well. All layers are at 1:1 scale. Could it be a DWG problem? A 2017 problem?

Hello! I'm a new-ish user so I'm still figuring lots of things out. That said, I can't figure out what is going on with my scene. I've imported a dwg into Vectorworks Spotlight 2017 which I exported from an educational version of Vectorworks. When I switch my layer options to Gray/Snap others, Show/Snap others or Show/Snap/Modify others, I can't snap to other objects, and in Modify other I can't actually modify. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks
