  1. You were correct bob. I originally started the project on the old machine running Mojave and exported it to the new machine running Catalina. That was the problem. I just started the project over again on the new machine running Catalina and it is handling the seating without a problem. I doubled the seating as a test and there is virtually no lag at all. So thanks for your response. MUCH appreciated!
  2. Hello, I upgraded to a 2019 27" iMac 3.6ghz 8-Core intel i9 (128gb DDR4 Ram) Radeon Pro Vega 8gb Catalina. I see almost no performance boost from the 27" 2013 iMac 3.5ghz intel i7 2 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 -VIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4 GB ) Mojave. Can anyone tell me why I do not see an improvement in performance? In some cases the computer performs worse. The 2013 is performing better with the file I've attached. When I try to move the Event Seating around the drawing area, it is virtually impossible. It takes a long time to render etc. The items in the sheet layer will not always match the positioning in the design layer. Is there a setting inside of Vectorworks that could possibly improve the performance of the software? I'd like to know before I return the computer. Thanks for your help! TO VECTORWORKS.vwx
  3. I am having this same issue - I think. I double click on the texture in the resource manager but no dialogue box opens allowing me to edit the texture. I am using VW 2017 spotlight - MacOS Sierra Is there another way to edit an existing texture in the resource manager?
  4. Hello, Is there a way to add a specific custom chair to the seating symbols? i want to add a chair from a specific manufacturer but can not figure out how to do it. Thanks
  5. I want to upgrade my Late 2013 27" iMac (3.5 Ghz Core i7 - 32 Gb 1600 ram - Nvidia GeForce GTX 780M 4096 MB). I was hoping for a new 2016 Mac Pro, but that isn't happining. Will a 2012 Mac Pro 3.06 Ghz 12 core - 64GB ram - ATI Radeon 5770 MD771LL/A CTO be a significant upgrade from what I'm currently using? I use Vectorworks and Cinema4D a lot. the 32 gigs of ram in my iMac isn't handling large files very well. Thanks for any insight or advice you can offer.
