After upgrading to mac system 10, I am having a problems getting worksheets to print with the correct font. They default to geneva or something. They look correct on screen but print incorrectly. The font I am trying to use, frutiger, is being used in text blocks and notes on the same sheet and these print fine. Any suggestions? VWA 10.1.2 Mac os 10.2.6

recently, I have been having a problem with entering data in the object info palette. When I enter information then click enter the cursor highlights the next field of info then immediately goes back to the first field of the record. So, instead of being able to type, hit enter and goes to the next field, I have to constantly click on the field I want, then type. Is this a bug? do you have any suggestions/solutions? VWA 10.1.2 Mac os 10.2.6

what about pasting as a picture? we use this from appleworks sometimes.

I tried the download from Unsanity.com but I can't get it to work. I guess I will have to deall with a smaller drawing area. AAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!

If there are close, minimize, and maximize (red, yellow, green) on the file windows couldn't you all make the OI and Resource Palettes with similar buttons?

I just switched to MAC OS 10 (from OS 9.2). Is there a way to window shade the Object Info & Resources palette?

I have been having problems with lines in worksheets. I specify borders where I want them within the worksheet. Then in the drawing I turn lines and fill to "none" in the attributes palettes, but my worksheet is printing with all the lines. On screen it looks fine. VWA 10.1.0 Mac OS 9.2

you can import an excel sheet into a vw worksheet. this works if you want to format in excel. it can be a problem if you have to update often, or you can just update the vw worksheet once you've got the format. I agree about the text wrap and have stated so in the wish list forum. We use worksheets for notes because the look is cleaner than a text block for a numbered list. However it gets annoying to start typing and have to remember to check every 15 words that i haven't gone ouside the worksheet boundary. I would love text wrap. It could be a setting to turn off/on when needed.

It would also be nice to be able to lock and unlock a layer (like photoshop & illustrator) without having to select all the objects on that layer then lock them. Sometimes I want to work on /modify objects on two layers and have a third laye that i can snap to without modifying anything on it. Or I guess you could have one layer set to snap only (instead of locking) and other layers to snap/modify.

and you should also be able to purge empty symbol folders.

There sould be a purge all option.

I don't think this is possible. The cavity lines can be different weights but not different colors. Maybe this is something to add to the wish list board.

I tried to create a new file by copying everything layer by layer. I discovered it was the floor plan that was causing the problem. However I don't know why or how to fix it except to redraw the plan, which I don't want to do. VWA 10.1.0 Mac os 9.2

is it possible to set up redlines so that picked up redlines go to a different class, say redlines-resolved just for kicks, so that only the ones that need to be resolved are visible?

1) I used to be able to (in vw 9.5) go to the format text window and type in the beginning of the font name and vw would automatically go to the name. For example I type "f" and vw scrolls to the first font that begins with "f". This does not happen anymore in vw 10. Please bring this feature back. 2) In the workspace editor, in vw 9.5, if a shortcut is already being used vw tells me which comand is using the shortcut. VW 10 does not do this. It just says the shortcut is unavailable. I like knowing where the shotcut is being used because then I can determine if it is a shortcut for a command I rarely use and delete it from that command without having to search through the entire list of tools and commands. Please bring this feature back. Thanks.

I agree. We use worsheets for notes and it is so annoying trying t figure when I am at the end of the row. An editting becomes a real hassle if something gets deleted or added.

I tried refresh, this didn't do it. I am using vw10.1 on mac os 9.2.

I am having a problem with this tool being consistent. When I click show ceiling all of the doors don't change to ceiling view even though when I click on them in the object info palette the "show ceiling" box is checked. The same thing happens when I "show floor". All of the door do not change. ??

The file is only 200kb, but it contains 16-20 hex bolts, washers & nuts (as pios). would that make a difference? on osX, the spinning globe worked for 5 min+ on this file, and then we force quit. on 9.2.2, the file exported Ok. VW10.1

exporting to .dwg, get the error message used to seeing with the purge command (This action cannot be undone.....click Ok), go thru the export dialog box - Exporting "File Name" with Getting Options displayed above a motionless progress bar with a spinning globe....eventually have to force quit. ?? vw10.1/os10.2.4

On first computer (Mac Os 9.2) the pio (for example structural tube) take on class attributes. On the second computer (Mac Os 10) the same pio always comes in white no matter what class is selected. Please explain.
