I have created a chain dimension for my outside walls. Is it possible to add an additional dimension in the middle if I choose to add a new wall in the middle of my line of dimension?

When using the keynotes- and adding a keynote where does the information go once I enter- Is there a legend created on the same sheet? Also, it seems that once I select a new callout and try to paste text- it does not give me that option to pste in the callout box

When using the space planning tool is there a way to use the "return key" to stack my room name for for better placement in the drawing?

When creating doors and then selecting the leaf part and assignig it glass- it does not rendered glass- what did I miss

Unfortunately- When dealing very complex roof system does not work- It seems that often you have to toggel between the side elevation and try to make adjustment then but it always seems to throw off other parts of the roof. Another example- Let's say we have a circular roof dying into a portion of a corner of a a hip roof- It just seems very difficult and nor very accurate when making any necessary adjust. Would it be better to work in solid forms rather than roof face? But it seems then it woul be very combersome

Can anyone give advice on how to connect say a gable roof face into say my main roof face- Is there some type of connect roof faces that would figure out where my roof faces meet and then adjust accordingly. I believe there is a feature like this in archicad- Does this exist in VW? Hope this makes sense

I was hoping if it were possible to create curved roofs?

I have reference a file(floor plan) to my site plan design layer- I would like to create a viewport of everything on my design layer including the referenced material- It seems when I place this on my sheet everything comes through except my referenced material- Is this possible?

Is it possible to add a texture on the roof edges or facia board- It seems when I add a texture to the roof all of the roof except the edges receive a texture.

I was hoping osmeone might be able to tell me how to add a new column in my finish schedule- I can easily insert a column but I need to have the new column at the end as opposed to in the middle. Thanks- Also when seeing looking at my room numbers they are all scattered, is there a way to list them say 1-10 or 10-1?

When using ID labeler for the door and window schedules in model layer- Can I assign the same number if one or more doors match each other?- Will this only represent one window or door when I create my schedules?

Is there a quick key to get out of the test command? Obviously the "x" key just types an "x"

WAs wondering if anyone else has come across this- When I export my sheet layers with annotations on the them to a DWG format- my annotations don't show up

Do the section lines not show up on the Sheet layer of my floor plans. They show up only on my design layer. Is is possible to make them visible on my floor plan sheet layer??

Would the baseboard be generate on the inside of the line as apposed to the outside

Is it possible to add baseboard trim in my model- Let's say 3/4" X 6" base with some type of profile. Is there a toll that I can quickly trace the outline of the room and accomplish this?

Was wondering it anyone had lucj in 2008 placing a roof on curved walls- It seems when I attemt it the roof tool just drawws a uectangle shaped roof insteated of following the curves of the walls

When extruding polygons to say for example- 2" and thenget back to plan view- My polygon becomes transparent- Why is this happening- should the extruded polygon be a solid?

I Am working on a very simple building- One floor and a roof. I have been working a model format and it seems that the file is huge- 35 MB- It been rather difficult converting to a dwg and then sending it to consultants- it has been a slow process. I can't imagine if I had a more complex model- would most systems just crawl when trying to render? Any suggestions?

It's still a little unclear- Do you import the dwg first in the file- import dwg- and then go to AEC and import survey or do you go to to AC-terrain-then site site model- It's a bit confusing I was also told I needed LAndmark in order to achieve the model import of a dwg survey. My work computer has ony VWArch and my home has the design series

I have actually the design series, Aarchitect, Landmark, etc.- Just not quite sure where to begin on importing the survey and the necessary step to generate the computer model

It appears when I I do a copy and paste, the words are sitting on top of one another in VW, When I did a copy and paste as a picture nothing shows up but an empty box.
