  1. Fred, The Reference Marker object can provide a variety of different appearances. There are two parameters in the Object Info palette you may want to experiement with -- 'Config' and 'Appearance.' config will change the marker config between elevation, section and detail, whereas Appearance will show different "typical" ways of displaying each marker type. I think you'll find that checking this out will solve your problem. If you'd like, you can prefdefine the appearances you prefer and save them as symbols that explode as objects when placed in the drawing. then you can just drag them from the Obj Info palette into the drawing. Give it a try!
  2. Try this step-by-step in a new file (tatally blank) and let me know what occurs: 1. Select the 'VA Records and Schedules' command. 2. Select a record and reduce the # of fields as desired. 3. After selecting OK and returning to the main dialog, select the corresponding schedule. 4. Make a change in the schedule heading, such as a piece of text or column width. 5. After selecting OK and returning to the main dialog, select Done. 6. Select the 'VA Create Schedule' command. 7. Select the schedule type you just modified and place it on the drawing. 8. Check the schedule information to verify that it matches the scope and content you selected in the record and schedule dialogs.
  3. How are you trying to replace the Wall Type entries? Are you using the Wall Types Library command to do this or attempting to edit the data files directly from an external editor?
