I thought that might be the case.. I have been working with lightning tapes (not sure if your familiar but its a plugin for printing truss tapes) and it generates symbols using Device type, I have created custom symbols of my own to display differences, graphically between, say a par and a leko. I can use the existing options to make it work just thought it would be easier if I could create my own device types.

Wondering how, if possible I can create a new Device Type in the OIP, in the drop down menu.

Im using lightning tapes and I'd like to be able to create a new device type in the pull down menu in the OIP so for example I could create a "Light Par" in the pull down.
