  1. Working on a show drawing in VWX2024 and I'm trying to clean up the classes before I send the drawing out to other members of the tour. For some reason, I can't get any of my Tyler GT to change its class. I select a piece of the truss, and in the Object Info window, I click the Class dropdown and try to assign it to a different class. VWX does its usual hang up while it thinks, flashes like its changed the classes..... But the classes aren't changed. Every piece of truss reverted back to Truss Horz Tyler Truss GT 10'w/Vertical Forks. The only answer google is taking me to on this issue is something from 2008, and another answer which requires going into the Designer Workspace. I have Spotlight, Fundamentals, and Braceworks as options. This has never been an issue for me on VWX2015-2023. Am I missing something?
  2. So I have a drawing in front of me that's a combination of files from multiple vendors. Some Vectorworks, some from different iterations of AutoCAD. Overall, the drawing works fine in Vectorworks. It's an absolute disaster when I export it to ACAD, but that's an issue for a different time. My biggest problem right now is that when I try to print to PDF, or export to PDF, the lineweights are not being reproduced as they are on my screen. I searched the forum and came up with nothing that proved useful. Anyone got any ideas?
  3. I'm having an issue in a drawing where I've tossed in a sub-grid to hold my automated hoists above the actual lighting truss. I grabbed the top truss and the lower truss then used the Insert Drop command to attach the two. When I right click on a piece of truss and "Select System Objects" then tell Braceworks to calculate the selection, I get the error back that the drop motors are duplicate motors and it doesn't consider the weight that is hanging from those hoists. Anyone got an idea what's going on here? Drop Hoists.vwx
