  1. Thanks! That worked out great!
  2. I gave that a try, but I had to ungroup twice to actually separate them. I then remade Truss 2, but the fixtures on it were no longer tied to it, even though in the OIP it shows them on that position.
  3. Hi Everyone, I have somehow embedded one hanging position into another. I didn't notice for a while, and now I can not figure out how to separate them again. I created Truss 1, then must have created Truss 2 with Truss 1 selected. When I click on either, Truss 2 is the position name. When I edit Truss 2, Truss 1 is in there as a separate position. Is there a way I can separate them again? Thanks in advance for any advice! VW 2018 SP4 MacBook Pro mid 2018 OS 10.11.6
  4. You may be onto something there, I moved all of the lines 1" off the ground and now they appear. I do have a rectangle "stage" that could have been covering them, although I purposely put that at the bottom of the layer stack. It also changes the plane to 3D from Layer, but I don't know if that matters. Thanks!
  5. Hi folks, I am creating some hidden line viewports, and my dimension lines are not showing up. The text box is still there, but the lines are gone. Class/Layer visibility is ok. I tried at first doing a background wireframe and a foreground hidden line, then just a background hidden line. They will show up when I initially go to the sheet layer, but once the viewport is updated, they disappear. If I use Open GL they are there, but that isn't what I want to send out. All dims are set to Layer plane. I've also done a full restart of the program, just in case. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 6. Ok, thank you so much! I would attach the file, but there is so much other stuff going on in there that it wouldn't be of much help. I will try to re-create it with a new file as well.
  7. Hmmm. My position height for the truss starts at 0'0", so it is hard to tell. I selected them together and moved them (to keep the spacing). I just tried making them a group, but then the stop existing as fixtures. If I make them a multi-circuit fixture, then they all follow the truss, but then (I believe) focusing individual fixtures will be an issue. Also, copying as a multi-circuit group creates another 6 individual fixtures, so I would have to copy each group, then make each one a multi-circuit, then attach it to the truss. I'm not sure this is the answer. Thanks! DK
  8. I did check each fixture, and each one says "Truss 3" in the OIP. I just tried selecting one group of six, moved them off of the truss, and deleted the position name in the OIP of each fixture. I then selected them again and attached them to the position. Each fixture now says "Truss 3" in the OIP, but only one of them follows it when I change the Z value. Okay, one thing I just noticed. I have 5 x 50 degree and 1 x 26 degree in each group. It is only the 26 degree that follow the truss. Both symbols came from the same ETC folder, and the two OIP values are identical (other than actual name and beam angle). Maybe there is something else to check? Thanks! DK
  9. Hi, I am trying to find a work around for making a six-rack of lekos. I basically just got them spaced properly, and then copied them for each instance. The issue I am having, is that when I move a group of 6 to a light position, and then change the z value of that position, only one of the fixtures moves with the position to the new z value. Each of the 6 shows in the OIP that they are on that position, but they don't "follow" it. Any ideas? Thanks! DK
  10. Hi, I have tried rotating this, as well as, other audience blinders, and when I rotate in 3D, the yoke becomes separated from the rest of the fixture. Also, the main body ends up much further out than it would be in real life. I am also not able to find where I can edit this symbol. Any help would be appreciated, file is attached.
