  1. Hi all, I am looking at booms at the moment and have attached an image from when i used AutoCAD to create booms, as you can see this is in perspective as if you are looking at the lamps head on. I would like to do this in vecotroworks on my plan and of course could go about creating a custom symbol just for this purpose however i am wondering if it is possible to use the fact that vectorworks provides 3D symbols to do this? As in change their orientation directly in the 2D plan view? cheers Alex
  2. I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have drawn a 3D scale model and I need to send it to a company that only uses autocad I have tried to export the file but when opening the dwg all the 3d elements work except for the walls, the walls remain 2D and I cannot figure out why. Can anybody tell me if im doing something wrong with the export settings?
