check out www.freepix.com - the google nano banana engine is quite good for early renders where you don't need to be fully accurate.
I took a screenshot of a design layer view and put it through freepix... took about 30 seconds for image , while not fully accurate its quick for initial images for discussion.

But I shouldn't need a complex formula to do a window schedule or data tag?
I would have thought the Window & DWA should be combined into 1 tool as it generally applies to the exterior facade (ie. a window!) and this way it will be more user friendly.

that seems to be ridiculous then - so the window and DWA are not compatible if you want a single window schedule or ease of use on a drawing.
(i thought the DWA was to make up for the lack of options in window tool)
So either only use the DWA for all windows or just use window tool with symbols for non standard windows? ......never the twain shall meet....

update - sorry - have it working - but I can't double click on tag to change number - have to use the object info menu instead ?

@Tom W. I pasted your IFS formula into my tag , but now it won't associate with the DWA on the plan? ....

thanks @Pat Stanford - I have it working now so I can pick either a normal window or a DWA.
The one problem I have = I am unable to change the number of the window if it a DWA , works fine to double click tag and change number is just a normal window?

@Pat Stanford way over my head !!! not sure what I need to put in for the tag to select either a DWA or a normal window?
getting them both on same worksheet is stage 2!

is is possible to make a data tag that can select both windows and also window/door assemblies as needed ?
I only seem to be able to have a tag for each one rather than a combined one, and having trouble trying to get them to appear on combined schedule

anyone else having this issue : in an annotation viewport and I want to use the polygon bucket fill - if I click to fill the window area (see below) the fill is put up and right instead of in window?
( I seem to remember this happened before in another release)

@cberg - must change my info as I'm on Mac OS 26 -
when working on a layer (say furniture) and I want to see another layer (say walls) in 2026 - I am unable to move anything in the furniture layer if I have the walls layer turned to grey out?
can edit some parts but can't seem to move the bathroom fittings for example if walls layer above is set to grey.

@E|FA Its just crazy ... , no videos or documentation to explain these changes or implications when you update from 2025... instead the next coffee break is on how to spilt a worksheet 😭

had a look at that - even with every one set to 0 line thickness they are still there..
all the lines (even in wall) seem to be be thick for some reason...(the components aren't set this line thickness )

thanks - cut plane was issue with normal window.
is it me or are the lines too heavy also? can't seem to change this either!!

yes, went into edit assembly and then selected the mullion and changed class as below?

how do I change the frame in the middle to match the window colour? have changed every setting to be 'by class' but no luck?
ps. what a pain to go through so many settings in different boxes / tabs in an oversized awful UI... 🤮 !!!
