  1. When I export a rendering to an image (JPG) I get a big white area around my original view. The view is a perspective one. I know there used to be Quicktime issues in the past. I run VW 10.5.1 on an eMac 700Mhz with 512 MB Ram, OS X 10.3.2 and Quicktime 6.5.

    Any suggestions? Thanks

  2. Is it possible to create a VR object (.mov) straight out of vectorworks? So without any additional programs (art-lantis, or cinema 4d). Is there maybe a plugin? Thanks!!

  3. Thanks for the quick reply! I also tried the free Panzercad plugin, but that only seems to print the first saved sheet. Ah well, we'll have to choose the ricght sheet before we print. Maybe it's something for the new VW. Please include this plugin for the basic versions as well. [smile]

  4. Well, there are some very small USB mice with 3 buttons and scrollwheel. But if you use your mouse for a longer time (and use it a lot, like you probably will using VW), then I would choose a bigger mouse that lies well in your hand. They don't have to be expensive I think. Also choose a optical mouse (also available very small), they are more precise. Hope this helps. I'm not an expert, so this is just my experience with mice.

  5. You can also use a hemisphere with a sky texture (check marlin studios). When you make the texture, use constant as reflection. The "hemisphere sky" doesn't work if you use direct lights (unless you turn off shadows). This method works quite nice. All the windows are reflecting the sky now as well. Looks good. Maybe rendertime will be a little bit longer, but it's worth it.

  6. you don't have to wait until you fully rendered the first frame. When you stop the render using esc(windows) or command-. then the animation will render fully (so no wireframe). this works a little bit faster (at least for the initial render).
