  1. I tried the Panzercad plugin but it doesn't seem to work for me. I'm using VW 9.5.2. Is there any documentation for this plugin?
  2. Thanx for all the replies!! I can't wait for the converter but untill then I'll use the combination of the colored spots and the light dome.
  3. Does anyone know how to make (fake) radiosity, or is it something to add to the wishlist. I tried the dome with the lights but it's not really the result I want. The best answer could be a GOOD exporter for Cinema 4d. I hope there's someone who could help me.
  4. When we send .dwgs or .mcd from mac to pc (or the other way) we always use programs like winzip or stuffit. You can even make a selfextracting file if the other side doesn't have the extracting progs. We never had any problems.
  5. Why is the filesize of a PDF made in VW9.5.1 (OS X), larger than when it's made in VW9.01 (OS 9.2) ? There's a lot of images in the PDF. I can't find any options for compressing. Thanx
  6. Maybe this is the answer. Under the menu organize-layer options, click on show/snap others, this way vectorworks will snap on other layers as well. good luck
  7. I'd like to see a way to put a background in your rendering, different from black or white. The only way now is to put a 3dpoly with a texture to it on the background. thanx
  8. I have OS X 10.1.2 VW 9.5 and tablet drivers 4.7.2 (newest from Wacom site). My tablet does work when the wacom drivers are not installed, but i will miss some features. Thanks for the reply by the way
  9. I just bought a wacom graphire 2. I downloaded the drivers from the apple site. But after installing the wacom drivers, Vectorworks could start up, is there a compatibilty problem? or are there other drivers I need? Thanx
  10. I want to know if it's possible to add a background in renderworks 9? Now I use photoshop to make background skies. Maybe it's a good idea for the next update.
  11. Have you tried to render with shadowmaps rather than raytrace. you'll lose some raytrace features like shadows through glass, but you get soft shadows.
