Hi Folks, I have just started using referenced design layer viewports, I thought all was going well until I tried having more than one in a drawing. I have a venue plan that I am referencing, it is an import from AutoCad with plan and section all on the same plane as separate drawings. I don't really have the time to be getting it into 3D at the moment so I just rotated the section drawing of the venue in 3d. I then created two referenced view ports on one of my design layers, on in plan view the other a side view. Once I had aligned the two viewports everything seemed to be working great until I tried creating some sheet layers. Basically neither referenced design layer viewport will display in a sheet layer viewport with anything other than plan view selected. I know it's not a layer/class thing as all are turned on, same scale etc. Even just jumping between views without changing visibilities makes the referenced viewports appear disappear.... Thoughts? Hi Folks, I'm having some trouble with adding lights using the light tool, not Spotlight fixtures (I do have spotlight). When I add light fixture I get a message at the bottom right saying the light is not visible, but I can see the effect of it in a rendered view. With all layers and classes set to Show/Snap/Modify there are no objects that I can select to edit or more importantly delete the light object. I assume it's some setting I have turned off? Simple drawing attached with lights "added" Help!

Hi Folks, I've just had my third file report being corrupted to the point of being unusable in as many weeks, thankfully the back up schedule has been working fine so no significant data was lost. I'm after some insight as to the likely causes for this sort of failure, all my working files are stored on our company server except for symbol libraries which I store locally and sync among the team with dropbox. I haven't had any other reports of other files being corrupted among our 10 or so server users though I am the main Vectorworks user. We're running SBS 2008, a mix of Win 7 and Win8 client machines and Vectorworks 2015 across the board. Any thoughts?

This thread keeps coming up in when I google for solutions to various problems, I'm so glad it's not just me!
