  1. My guess is they do not have a driver for this OS yet as it is still in Beta. The drivers are all from a 3rd party, Sentinel. Here is a link to the latest Mac driver that I could find: http://sentinelcustomer.safenet-inc.com/DownloadNotice.aspx?dID=8589945156
  2. @MasterK We saw a similar problem a while ago caused by a Dell application called Dell Backup and Recovery. Do you happen to have this program installed? If so, can you try removing this to see if the crash continues? Thanks!
  3. I believe the ext4 file system is case-sensitive, so Vectorworks will not work there. Also, Vectorworks will not run on Linux. It will need to be installed on Mac or Windows operating systems and a case-insensitive file system.
  4. @Stan what file system is the NAS using? If it is case-sensitive, it will not work and Vectorworks will give this error. Thanks,
  5. Can you send me a direct message with your dxdiag.txt file so I can check your system configuration? Also, were you able to try using a trail of 2019 as a test? Thanks!
  6. Yes, the issue is related to how Mojave is forcing a refresh of the Object Info Palette. Undocking and resizing the palette seems to reset it and mitigate the issue. We have only seen this issue on Mojave, but our engineering team is aware and working on a fix. Thanks!
  7. This article will be kept up to date with any details about the compatibility between Vectorworks and macOS 10.15 Catalina: Are you testing on Catalina? Please use the comments to give us your feedback or to report issues.
  8. Did you move the location of your User Preferences folder? Do you have any workgroup folders or a custom workspace?
  9. @First Garden Design Hi Ken, welcome back. Hope you are doing well. You can refer to the videos on our Getting Started Guides for help with Site Modifiers. Here is a link to a specific video that I think will help: https://www.vectorworks.net/training/2019/getting-started-guides/site-design/creating-site-modifiers Thanks!
  10. @Tmorgan What operating system are you on? Also, are you up to date with Service Pack 4? Thanks!
  11. Yes, this is still not resolved. I am checking with Engineering now to get an update. Thanks!
  12. @_c_ Can you send me a private message with the UpdaterLog.txt files for the 2 problem users? I can take a look and try to figure out what is going on there. Thanks!
  13. When running the Vectorworks Updater, the Update may fail. This may be caused by incorrect permission settings, especially on Mac OS X/macOS. To fix this, try changing the permissions on the Vectorworks 2019 folder, in the Applications folder. Right-click on the Vectorworks 2019 folder and choose "Get Info". At the bottom of the window, you will see "Sharing & Permissions". You should see your current user name listed here, followed by (Me). If you do not see this, click on the + button on the bottom left of the window and add your user name to the list. Once it is added, change the permission to "Read & Write". Next, you will want to make sure those permissions are correctly applied to the items inside of this folder. To do this, click on the Gear icon at the bottom and choose "Apply to enclosed items". Once the permissions are applied, run the Vectorworks Updater again and it should complete successfully.
  14. @GAW-Grant Did you migrate any user libraries or custom content from a previous version of Vectorworks?
  15. @rrsweetnam please refer to the following article:
  16. @Guy Edelstyn Thanks for your input. I revised the article to fix the link for the 2019 Offline Updater instructions. Thanks!
  17. @Jack B Yes, you can use the keyboard keys "U", "I", "O", and "P" to cycle through the different tool modes in the tool bar. For this specifically, I think the "P" key will get you into that field. Thanks!
  18. Are you able to send the rlmdiag.txt file, from the web interface? Also, there is no need to use the "Activate License" from the web. The activation is done by the Site Protection Server app when you add the Activation code or license file.
  19. Check the Reprise folder in Program Data. C:\ProgramData\Reprise
  20. @MikeSmithWSU This error means that the directory that stores certain RLM data can't be found. It is usually a permissions issue. Are you on Mac or Windows?
  21. Can you try turning on "Cropped perspective" in your Document Preferences? Go to File>Document Settings>Document Preferences>Display
  22. @AHDesign1 Hi Matt, The Viewer does have the ability to select, move, and delete objects. However, you will not be able to directly edit plug-in objects (doors, windows, etc). Also, there is no way to Save any of the changes made in the Viewport. I have tested this on several machines here and I am unable to replicate what you mentioned above. Thanks,
  23. you shouldn't need to open the .dll files. Vectorworks will access the necessary .dll automatically in the background. This article is just the steps on how to remove and reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ components that Vectorworks needs to run.
  24. Can you try undocking the Object Info Palette to see if this helps with the slowness? Also, are you up-to-date with SP3?
