  1. I use the 12-button Razer Naga Trinity with Steermouse. There's an issue with VW 2024. For example I assign "X" to button 1. Problem with VW 2024, the "X" was ignored, button 1 stayed "1". Solution: Assign keystroke "X" twice (view image)
  2. I'm waiting for the Mac Studio M2, to see how the base model compares to a fully loaded Mini M2 pro. I would prefer the Studio for the bigger cooler, it might help against throttling with Cpu intensive tasks.
  3. 33:35 Quad core i7 - 3,4 GHz (6700) 32 GB ram Radeon RX 580 expected worse, but time to upgrade anyway
  4. tap "H" before mouse zooming, most of the time I will need the hand to pan
  5. I'm looking for a text based list of all available record field criteria usable in worksheets: Like the following: 'Space'.'name' 'CWDObj'.'OpeningHeight' 'CWDObj'.'OpeningWidth' etc... Is this available somewhere?
  6. So far I can survive with Open GL and create something decent for small projects. With larger projects, the lighting limit is a pain. I hope that at some point a decent real time rendering engine wil be implemented in VW. I have been playing around with unreal engine, just wish you could have this in your VW workflow instead of open GL. In 2018 its hard to impress a client with the clunky VW web viewer.
  7. Why is this hard limit still not "upgraded" in VW2018? I like working in OpenGL because of speed and instant results with good textures, but the lighting limit is cumbersome...
  8. OpenGL renders up to eight lights in a drawing; additional ambient light, directional, point, or spot lights have no effect. => I built myself a computer with a more than capable graphics card, could it be possible to create an option in preferences to have more than eight lights? http://app-help.vectorworks.net/2016/eng/VW2016_Guide/Rendering/OpenGL.htm
  9. Link below: " Exporting to PDF, Printing to PDF and Publishing to PDF may lose proper hatch and text location" http://kbase.vectorworks.net/questions/1279/Mac+OS+X+10.10+Yosemite+compatibility+with+Vectorworks No changes with the last update from Yosemite aka 10.10.2? On the other hand, I don't see the board flooded with complaints regarding garbled PDF's, so is it a serious matter or only sporadic detail?
